COMPETENCES

The Business Strategy Analytics Manager is responsible for enabling the strategic decision process with the development of data driven and meaningful business insights, analytics and tools supporting the best in class evolution of the Global Internal Manufacturing (GIM) Department.

He/she leads the governance and the implementation of an efficient metrics framework amongst the manufacturing sites.

As a strategic role and key player for the organization, this position will closely collaborate with the Internal Manufacturing Site Heads and cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic international environment.

The Business Strategy Analytics Manager is part of the Global Internal Manufacturing Strategic & Operational Excellence Leadership team and may act as a back-up of his peers

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or Supply Chain, MBA is a plus

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in an international environment, pharmaceutical and GxP experience in manufacturing are strong assets

  • Ability to work in a dynamic matrixed environment, beyond pre-defined processes, bringing strategic insights

  • Ability to build straightforward business scenarios and options

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills

  • Process-, concept-oriented mindset: understands impact and interdependencies

  • Capable to lead cross-functional initiatives

  • Mindset of continuous improvement, customer oriented, is change agent and team-player

  • Excellent IT proficiency: MS Office, proficient in Excel, ERP and reporting tools

  • Fluency in French and English are mandatory

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for the following:

  • Providing business cases and data-driven meaningful insights for Global Internal Manufacturing leadership across sites/functions for decision making and performance monitoring purpose, based on strategic KPIs which he/she will define and maintain.

  • Participating/leading projects and strategic initiatives in his/her area of activities.

  • Together with a panel of stakeholders, defining and driving continuous improvement initiatives of integrated and harmonized cross-functional key-processes.

  • Providing optimum tools to maintain governance on key-processes.

  • Acting as the initial point of contact for data request for project & initiatives and address appropriate responsibilities within Global Internal Manufacturingbased on scope of project.

  • Facilitating decision-making in terms of manufacturing strategic network definition with simulation tools and business cases including consideration of insourcing/outsourcing of manufacturing production.

  • Maintaining consolidated product portfolio overview of Celgene products and markets for the internal manufacturing network

  • Plays an active role in appropriate TCT (Technical Commercialization Team) Meetings as Global Internal Manufacturing representative.
