Cell Therapy Patient Experience Organization at Celgene

From the minute they are enrolled in a clinical trial or will be prescribed our therapies, to when we work with apheresis partners who take their blood, to when we receive their cells, through our manufacturing processes, and ultimately when they receive the medicine we made for them via their healthcare provider.

Job Summary:

This position is based at our site in Seattle, Washington - relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

Just as Cell Therapy is redefining personalized medicine, we are creating the industry defining Cell Therapy Patient Experience, for our patients, caregivers, providers and partners. Our Cell Therapy Patient Experience team’s mission is to define and deliver the world’s most trusted cell therapy experience, and this position will primarily focus on management of clinical demand plans impacting our Cell Therapy Manufacturing Plants.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain forecasts for clinical studies associated with all clinical development programs across the Celgene Cell Therapy portfolio.

  • Partner with global clinical teams and program management to align clinical trial assumptions and translate protocol design(s) into program level forecast.

  • Liaise with Global Supply Chain to ensure allocation across all studies and trials is maintained within defined plant manufacturing capacity, CMOs included, through S&OP process

  • Update the demand forecast within the forecasting system in alignment with plans and plant manufacturing capacity

  • Works with global clinical teams to ensure trial specific slot model, trial specific scheduling, manufacturing slot allocation and notification processes. Transfer defined processes to the scheduling team in Patient Operations

  • Track forecasted against actuals and periodically update the demand forecasts based on actuals, protocol amendments, strategy shifts etc.

  • Assist with the maintenance and improvement of procedures and tools used to maintain the forecast

  • Support Patient Operations on forecasting and capacity management E-Systems implementations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, clinical planning, forecasting, and/or supply chain planning

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data sourcing)

  • Excellent analytical, data analysis, and problem solving skills

  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Collaborates effectively in a cross-functional, team- oriented environment

  • Strong system skills and ability to learn, retain and apply large amounts of product, procedure, policy and system information

  • Flexibility in responding to change or business needs

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with complicated multistep products or processes
