The Product Manager will be a key member of the Marketing Team with primary responsibility to guide and assist with the development, implementation and follow-through of the strategic and tactical plans/programs to support Apremilast in the market.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Works cross-functionally with commercial team members (marketing, sales, analytics, reimbursement, medical affairs, etc.) to develop and execute programs / materials to support Apremilast in the market

  • Develops and executes communications programs for Healthcare Professionals to support brand messaging

  • Supports creation and development of brand promotional materials to support field force efforts

  • Provides input for public relations efforts

  • Manages Media Planning efforts and journal advertising

  • Manages internal review / approval process for promotional materials

  • Develops strong relationships with key opinion leaders and physician experts

  • Develops and implement best-in-class speaker programs to support field sales efforts

  • Participates in relevant scientific congresses and conferences to stay up to date with relevant literature

  • Partners with Medical Affairs to develop & execute KOL advocacy strategy

  • Effectively interacts with sales force and handle field requests

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of annual brand plan

  • Monitors and evaluates competitive products and marketplace dynamics

  • Collaborates on the input for market research activities with the Global Market Research Team

  • Serves as a champion for the brand and for product-specific challenges and opportunities

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry and minimum 1-2 years experience in sales, marketing or related function

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree required

  • Completed MBA preferred

  • Immunology market experience preferred

  • Launch experience preferred

  • Must be PC literate in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required

  • Travel 15-20%
