We are looking for a Global Learning & Development Program Manager with Human Resources experience. In this pivotal role, you will partner with the broader HR community (specifically with the HR Business Partners and Talent Management team) and business leaders to develop and deliver relevant and meaningful learning & development experiences for first-level and mid-level leaders at Celgene. Core Activities:

  • Lead program/project management efforts to design, develop and launch new and/or updated learning curricula for defined audiences.

  • Develop and maintain a consultative relationship with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify requirements for learning & development initiatives.

  • Curate learning & development resources that can be leveraged in a development journey (pre-engagement, flipped classroom, post-workshop support).

  • Develop coaching guides and support resources for the leaders of learners to improve reinforcement of new behaviors.

  • Create and implement strategies to measure learning impact across our learning programs (beyond Level 1 assessments).


  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)

  • 3 to 5 years in a Learning & Development role with demonstrated success in leading the development and implementation of enterprise-wide programs to impact manager capability, employee engagement and/or leadership effectiveness.

  • Experience managing/leading people (strongly preferred)

  • Proven track record in building effective partnerships with peers and influencing stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

  • Excellent facilitation skills and able to translate key concepts into engaging content and presentations.

  • Basic understanding in the development of synchronous and asynchronous learning solutions as part of a comprehensive learning experience.

  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levels.

  • Ability to travel 25% (domestic and international) to support learning programs.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Advanced Degree/Certification in Adult Learning, Instructional Design (preferred).

  • Location: Summit, NJ (preferred)

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Sharepoint

  • Knowledge of and experience with LMS (Workday Learning preferred)

  • Experience virtual learning course design (Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, etc.)

  • Exposure to the Human Resources function a plus and Leadership Development experience is preferred.

  • Ability to collaborate and establish productive relationships with a customer-focused mindset
